Sleep Trainer

What does a Sleep Trainer do?

From Custom Strategy to Hands-On Implementation

Sleep Training Support is a comprehensive, end-to-end service designed for families who want a professional to lead the way. Rather than following a generic guide, this process begins with a customized sleep plan created specifically for your family. I evaluate your baby’s temperament and your parenting preferences to suggest the most effective, gentle method for your unique situation. Once the strategy is set, I provide the hands-on application to ensure the plan is implemented with consistency, safety, and success.

  • Customized Strategy & Method Selection: A thorough assessment of your baby’s habits and your family’s goals. I suggest the best-suited methodology and create a personalized plan that respects your preferences and your baby’s needs.

  • Hands-On Implementation: Physical presence during the night or nap times to execute the plan. I handle the timing and the soothing, taking the guesswork out of the process for you.

  • Real-Time Adjustments: Babies aren't robots. I use my expertise to read your baby’s cues in real-time, adjusting the approach based on their temperament and immediate responses during the training.

  • Consistency & Confidence: I provide the steady, calm presence needed to stay the course, helping your baby learn the vital skill of independent sleep while you get the restorative rest you need.

  • Environment Optimization: A complete evaluation of the nursery (lighting, sound, temperature, etc.) to ensure the environment is perfectly aligned for optimal sleep.

The "Psychology-First" Difference:

Many families hesitate at the term "sleep training" because they fear it means breaking the bond with their child. With my background in Psychology, my approach is rooted in secure attachment.

I do not believe in "one-size-fits-all" methods. I focus on gentle, sustainable transitions that respect your baby’s emotional needs and brain development. By understanding your child's natural rhythm and temperament, we build a foundation of sleep that feels safe, respectful, and empowering for the whole family.

Important Note on Timing: Developmental Readiness
For developmental, biological, and nutritional reasons, I only offer formal Sleep Training for infants 6 months of age and older. Before 6 months, I focus on Sleep Shaping, helping your baby build healthy sleep habits while prioritizing feeding, growth, and development
(If your baby is under 6 months, please see my
Newborn Care Specialist services to help establish healthy sleep habits from the start.)
